Here’s a few examples of the type of strategic, collaborative work on product feature launches, UX, member engagement campaigns, content promotions, and brand and style guides I did over my four years at Audible.

Did content strategy and copywriting on a 5-week content campaign to engage members and increase sales of audiobooks, resulted in X incremental revenue. Included web and app landing pages, emails, and push. Full campaign available on request.

Wrote the script for an Audible ad featuring the two celebrities that ran on radio and streaming services.

Collaborated with designers to create banner ads and emails and app content to promote audiobooks and podcasts. Also wrote corporate communications as needed to support initiatives.

UX & Member Engagement

While I was on staff, Audible launched a new membership platform, and I was on the team that strategized and executed UX and then created enagement campaigns for new and existing members.

I’ve written guidebooks, white papers, bios, articles, and speeches on topics like the changing workforce, changing attitudes about higher education, filmmaking in the Dadaab refugee camp, artificial intelligence, artists with disabilities, and the positive impact of policy initiatives like federal grant money for child care.

Wrote a series of articles for the launch of the short film Brave for Girl Rising, an organization dedicated to expanding global education opportunities. Content lives on the Girl Rising site, and on the internal comms sites of sponsors Citibank and the International Rescue Committee.

I was an adjunct professor at CUNY John Jay College, worked as an editor for an educational curriculum company and a best-selling author, trained professional writers on adapting their work to new formats, and conducted writing improvement workshops for global public relations agencies.
